Winding Up Petitions

If you are owed more than £750 by a company, we can act for you if you want to wind up or liquidate the company that owes you money provided that the debt is not disputed.

If you own your own company and it is insolvent, if the shareholders and directors agree, we can act for you in issuing or presenting a petition to wind up the company to put it into liquidation.

We can advise your company if a creditor serves you with a Statutory Demand (sometimes abbreviated to Stat Demand). The company must respond quickly to avoid a winding up petition being issued.

We can also arrange to serve a Statutory Demand on a company if it owes you money.

In some cases we may be able to agree a fixed price for our work to include all expenses such as court fees.
