Nottingham Solicitors Actons has been crowned LawNet “Law Firm of the Year” at the 2009 Annual Conference.

Actons’ Directors, Simon Dakin and Peter Flowerday, accepted this prestigious award from LawNet Chief Executive John Thomas at the Annual Conference held at The Celtic Manor Resort, Newport.

The judging panel recognised Actons as a ‘clear winner’ of the award in front of the other 64 member firms. In particular, the judges commented on Actons innovative use of technology and the development of new areas of work as key factors in their decision.

The Firm has successfully launched an equine law service which is marketed through the web, and also a thriving personal injury website. Now it is rolling out the online approach across other practice areas.
