Elizabeth joined Actons in 2007 and rejoined in 2010 after spending the first 6 months as a qualified solicitor at Stephensons Solicitors.  She is a solicitor in our employment department.

Elizabeth has experience of acting on behalf of both respondents and claimants in contentious matters including unfair dismissal, constructive unfair dismissal, unlawful deduction from wages, whistleblowing and discrimination claims.

She is also skilled in advising employers on a wide range of procedural matters including capability, disciplinary and dismissal and grievance procedures and redundancy.

Elizabeth has an excellent understanding of employment contracts, policies and procedures and regularly drafts tailored documents for employers.

Elizabeth is a confident presenter, presenting to clients and others on a number of employment and human resources topics including the basics of employment law, the ACAS Code of Practice and the Equality Act 2010.

Elizabeth is also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Elizabeth is a keen walker who enjoys keeping fit in general and occasionally runs to raise money for charity.
