Ian has been a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives since 1985 and has been with Actons since 1983. He is an associate in our dispute resolution and insolvency department. 

He acts in the main for insolvency practitioners who are appointed trustees in bankruptcy in the recovery of assets for the bankruptcy estate and also for company liquidators. He has particular expertise acting for bankrupts who wish to annul their bankruptcy orders.

Ian has gained vast experience in acting for trustees in investigation work and the realisation of assets, as well as transaction at an undervalue and preference claims.

He has dealt with the realisation of property outside the UK and has also worked on complicated annulment applications. 

Ian likes to spend time with his family, walking and gardening.
