Prenuptial agreements are becoming more and more popular as a wealth preservation tool where one party to a marriage has assets they want to protect.
Whether to try and ring-fence inherited assets or, assets acquired before marriage, although not enforceable as contracts they can and do carry increasing importance in certain types of marriage and divorce, particularly short childless marriages.
