A 3 year old girl was pronounced dead at hospital after being found entangled in some ropes on a slide when playing at her nursery playground in York.
It is thought that the girl was going down the slide, when she became caught in some ropes which formed part of another piece of playground equipment. She sustained serious injuries after being stuck on the ropes and had died by the time she arrived in hospital.

The ropes in which the girl became tangled were wrapped around the top part of the 5 foot slide. The nursery that offers care for children between the ages of six weeks and five years.
