We did it!! On Saturday 9 May 2015, our energetic team of walkers took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks to raise funds for Framework Housing Association.
In spite of atrocious conditions on the ascent of the first peak, and various minor injuries along the way, the team all returned from the adventure very proud and very grateful to all those who supported so well in so many ways.
On top of that achievement, they have smashed through the £2,000 target, with funds currently topping £3,294 including Gift Aid.
We have raised an incredible amount of money and want to thank everyone who has supported us.
The money raised will be used to fund the second stage of a garden project which we started last summer at the care home operated by Framework at 32 Bentinck Road. The work done so far has already made a big contribution to the lives of the residents at the Bentinck Road care home.
Framework is a Nottingham based charity dedicated to helping homeless people, preventing homelessness, and promoting opportunities for vulnerable and excluded people to change the direction of their lives.
