Biography
Nicola is an experienced contentious probate litigator and has many years’ experience helping private individuals resolve issues including disputes surrounding Wills, disputes with executors, Trust disputes, disputes over Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications.
Whilst contentious trust and probate claims can involve going through the court process, there is an increasing use of alternative dispute resolution, such as mediation.
Nicola is an Associate member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS)
Nicola joined Actons in 2022 from Lincolnshire-based firm Chattertons prior to which she worked at Nelsons in Nottingham for 10 years. Nicola qualified as a Solicitor in 2001.
