An educational organisation had dismissed a college lecturer for inappropriate conduct. The lecturer had then brought an employment tribunal claim against the organisation, claiming unfair dismissal.

By working closely with the organisation we were able to alter the lecturers’ perception of his chances of success and were able to force a full withdrawal of the unfair dismissal claim.
As a result of the lecturer withdrawing the tribunal claim early in the process, we were able to save the educational organisation time and money. Without our early advice and intervention, it could have been a reputationally difficult case for the organisation.
