Directors Guarantee Claims

Directors are under increasing pressure to personally guarantee their company’s debts in order to secure funding. Unfortunately the occasions when these guarantees are called upon are also increasing.

At Actons, our team of specialist solicitors will advise you on your position as a guarantor and whether the guarantee you have given is valid.

Where appropriate, we can help you defend the claim against you or negotiate settlement of it.

We can also advise you about rights you may have against any co-guarantors.

Fixed fee review

We will review the personal guarantee documentation and provide a report including our advice on how best to proceed. Included in the advice will be the merits of any potential defences and suggestions on the next steps to resolve the issue. Cost: £500 plus VAT (£600).
