Biography
Gordon has extensive experience in dealing with high value and complex commercial disputes and property disputes. He has a particular interest in contractual disputes, restrictive covenant disputes and company law disputes.
Gordon became an Accredited Commercial Mediator in 2017. Where appropriate, he uses alternative methods of dispute resolution (including mediation and expert determination) to minimise the cost that can often be associated with commercial disputes.
He has experience advising clients from SMEs to major corporates in a variety of sectors including retail, further education, and technology.
Gordon joined Actons in 2019 which marked his return to Nottingham having previously spent 15 years at Browne Jacobson, followed by 4 years at Bray & Bray. He has specialised in dispute resolution since qualifying as a solicitor in 2002. Gordon was promoted to Director in April 2021.
